I’m going to quit my job tomorrow. Seriously. I’ve been offered another job at MTV and that’s it. I promised myself I would quit as soon as I had another job to go to and now I do. I’m fucking excited and nervous as hell. I’ve never quit a job that matters before…hell, I’ve never had a job that matters. But this will be great. The job I’m going to is only temporary but it could lead to bigger and better things and it pays me more than I make now…but no health insurance. I’ll figure it out. I plan on joining the freelancers union where I can get fairly cheap health insurance. Good times, good times. So this job at MTV will hopefully not be as time consuming as the current digs and I’ll have more time for music and well, the blog. I miss having free time.

I will have about 2 weeks between the time I leave my current job and the time the new one starts. This will give me time to go make me record which I plan to do in NC with Older Navy. This could be fun, or it could be a disaster. I’m hoping for the former. The little recording we’ve done so far was really fun, pretty easy, comfortable. I’m hoping this will be more of the same.

Well I’m sitting outside and it’s starting to rain so I have to put the laptop away.
